Marian Lamayo is a graphic designer, based in Western Sydney. At a young age, Marian discovered that she could express her wild imagination through the manipulation of colour and type. She deviated from colouring inside the lines, and was strongly influenced by street art and music. From scribbles on top of illustrated books to larger scale, private and public canvases, her constant need to make her mark has led to her specialization in the disciplines of branding and identity, illustration, interface design and packaging design. Her constant strive to learn and further refine her skills has led to Bachelor’s degree in Design – Visual Communication at the University of Western Sydney. Her design industry work experience includes designing promotional and marketing material for Doric Australia, production of a Zine for the MCA Zine Fair, as well as attending multiple design seminars such as Semi-Permanent and Field Trip.
